John Warren
Valenta Global's founder and Principal, John Warren had a 35-year career leading criminal and administrative investigations involving international development, corruption, homicide, and sexual abuse crossing international borders, jurisdictions and legal systems. He was the head of investigations for the Offices of Inspector General (OIGs) of the U.S. Peace Corps and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. Over seven years on the Board of Directors of the Liaison Officers Association, he built an extensive network of International Police/Customs agencies around the world. He was Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Department of Homeland Security OIG in south Texas and was previously a Special Agent with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Department of Justice OIG. As a Special Agent/Security Officer with the Department of State, he managed embassy and consulate security programs in Mexico, Chile and Pakistan. A U.S. Army veteran, he served on the Saudi-Iraqi border during the first Gulf War. A graduate of George Mason University, he speaks Spanish and some French, is an avid sailor, and has traveled to 102 countries.
